Two of our members, Giselle Gomez and Caroline Western Torgersen had the chance to participate in Poland Trip 2026.
The trip was organized by several Rotaract Clubs in Poland and included travelling to 4 different cities in Poland over 10 days in May 2026.
The program was very well organized with many different activites, ranging from saltmines, festivalconcerts, museums, botanical garden, vodka tasting and much more. While learning alot about Poland, they had the chance to get to know many of the local Rotaractors who volunteered in the Poland Trip organizing.

The cities visited were Warsaw, Lublin, Łódź and Krakow.
Giselle and Caroline stayed in the homes of rotaractors and rotarians who had offered to host for some days each!
"It's a very unique experience to be able to travel around a country and be guided by locals. It makes the trip so much more authentic and exciting", says Caroline.
Maybe we are able to host a simular trip in Norway for international rotaractors in the future. It is a good way of cooperating, plan and find solutions between Rotaract and Rotary.
The Poland Trip was a sucess, and touched in on so many of the values we have in Rotaract. Creating new friendships, learn about different cultures and volunteer at the same time!

We even had the chance to take part in a Rotary Ceremony in Krakow, where they were revealing the Rotary Peace Pole in the park nearby Wawel Castle.

Rotaract worldwide organizes many country trips like this, throughout the year.
"We could really recommend applying to some of these initiatives", says Giselle. If you are wondering how and when, just reach out to one of us, and we will tell you more about the opportunities.
