Are you an aspiring leader looking to develop your skills, expand your network, and gain valuable leadership experience?

Rotaract Oslo International is pleased to offer one member the opportunity to attend RYLA 2026 (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards), taking place from 16-18 October 2026 at Best Western Leto Arena. (Sponsored weekend program with accommodation, value 5900NOK)

RYLA is Rotary’s premier leadership development program for young adults. The seminar brings together motivated young people for an inspiring weekend focused on leadership, personal growth, teamwork, and social responsibility. Participants will learn from experienced speakers, engage in discussions and workshops, and build lasting connections with other young potential leaders.

Eligibility Requirements

To apply, you must:

• Be a member of Rotaract/ Rotaract Oslo International

• Be between 19 and 30 years old mainly (exceptions can be made)

• Understand and speak Norwegian to a certain level. The program will be in Norwegian and its important to be able to gain knowledge from Norwegian speakers. 

• Be interested in leadership development and personal growth

  
  

Application Requirements

Please submit an application containing:

1. Full name

2. Age

3. How long you have been a member of Rotaract Oslo International

4. A motivation letter (maximum 400 words) explaining: 

   • Short intro of your background

   • Why you would like to attend RYLA 2026

   • How you plan to apply and share the knowledge and experience gained from RYLA.

     
     

Selection Process

Applications will be reviewed by the Board of Rotaract Oslo International. Candidates will be evaluated based on:

• Motivation and commitment

• Engagement within Rotaract and the wider community

• Ability to represent the club and share their RYLA experience with fellow members

  
  

Expectations of the Selected Participant

The selected candidate will be expected to:

• Attend the full RYLA seminar from 16-18 October 2026

• Represent Rotaract Oslo International in a positive and professional manner

• Deliver a short presentation to the club after the seminar, sharing key learnings and experiences

  
  

What is Included?

Rotaract Oslo International will sponsor the participation fee of NOK 5,900. Participants are responsible for their own travel expenses and personal spending.
