The German Trip is a collaborative project organized by Rotaract districts and clubs across Germany, aimed at promoting international understanding, showcasing German culture, and extending warm hospitality to Rotaractors from around the world.
After its last edition in 2022, the event was brought back to life in 2025 thanks to the dedication of an excellent organizing committee and the enthusiastic support of nine Rotaract clubs: Rotaract Club of Bingen-Ingelheim, Heidelberg International, Nürtingen, Nürnberg, Bayreuth, Magdeburg, Berlin, Hamburg-Altona, and Kassel.
The road trip took place from May 1st to May 12th, bringing together 10 participants from Mexico, Argentina, Africa, Malaysia, the Philippines, Croatia, and Norway. Throughout the journey, participants had the opportunity to experience the richness of German culture, cuisine, and hospitality — from scenic coastlines to stunning mountain landscapes, from spring festivals to hiking wine tastings, and most importantly, by connecting with local Rotaractors in every city visited.
International events like the German Trip bridge cultural gaps and create lifelong connections. They remind us how our shared values and commitment to service can unite people from every corner of the world. Moments like these truly reflect the spirit of Rotaract: fellowship, action, and global friendship.
