Let's annunce a new project to help:

OPERATION “WARM CLOTHES FOR UKRAINE

In cooperation with Oslo Rotary Club we are sending secondhand clothes to Korsun in Ukraine next week (week 6).

Here are the details:

-The purpose of the operation is to collect winter clothing for civilians in Ukraine.

-The clothes may be for adults, youth, and children. They must be clean and ready for immediate use.

-Collection happens by club members involving their family, friends, neighbors, cooworkers and others to gather winter clothing that can be donated.

-Clothes should preferably be packed in banana boxes or transparent plastic bags (garbage bags) with handles.

-Bags may contain mixed types and sizes of clothing.

-Bags must be closed so they can be handled without the contents falling out.

-The recipient in Ukraine is the town of Korsun (southeast of Kyiv), where residents support soldiers returning from the front as well as helping their own community.

Clothes are delivered to Rotaract member Caroline Torgersen adress in Oslo, or she can be helpful to stop by your adress to pick it up. Please send her a message on 94373123 for organizing delivery/pickup during next week.

The clothes has to be delivered by Friday 6th of february, to reach the departure of the semi-truck travelling to Ukraine.

A semi‑trailer transport to Ukraine costs approximately NOK 50,000 (all expenses included).

If you are unable to donate clothes, a contribution to this cost would also be appreciated. If you wish to support, please VIPPS 788902 — For instance NOK 100.

The operation is carried out in cooperation with Fabian Falch’s support system, Ukraine Frontline Emergency Aid, Oslo Rotary’s central partner in the 2023 generator campaign.

The organization Ukraine Frontline Emergency Aid (org. no. 9300772232) is registered with the Norwegian Fundraising Control.

Throughout the war, it has built and supported local communities in Ukraine.

They currently need large quantities of clothing (up to 4 tons per week can be distributed).

In cooperation with Lions, they delivered 350 bags/boxes of clothing before Christmas 2025, which were efficiently distributed.

It is winter and cold, and the operation should begin immediately. Fabian has already carried out similar operations and can ensure that it is safe and successful.

We hope to hear from you, and that you want to contribute yourself or activate your network to collect some clothes.
