It has been an exciting year for the club. We have grown in numbers and managed to create a varied program that covers all our focus areas: Networking, Learning, and Volunteering.
At the end of the Rotary year 2024/2025, we have registered 27 members from 16 different nations. Throughout the year, we have also reached many people through our digital platforms, which has resulted in many new guests attending our meetings in Bjørvika. Several of these have now become members of the club.

We have also established contact with the Mentor Committee in Oslo Rotary Club, to contribute as mentors for refugees coming to Norway. Many of our members can offer valuable insight and knowledge in a continued collaboration. We have also explored opportunities to work with recruitment within RYLA, and we hope that more young people will discover Rotaract in the future.
In addition to our regular meetings with guest speakers every other Tuesday, we have also organized many activities outside the meeting room. We’ve had pizza nights, visited the TINE company, arranged a ski trip to Kvitfjell, met for after-work gatherings, and hiked to Vettakollen. In addition, we were represented at both the D-2310 District Conference in Asker and PELS.

The biggest highlight and event of the year was undoubtedly the Nordic conference “Nordact 2024.” A total of 70 participants joined the organized trip between Copenhagen and Oslo on the Copenhagen ferry. We received exceptionally positive feedback and had a fantastic trip in every way. We had several helpers along the way from Rotary in Norway and also collaborated with Rotaract in Denmark to showcase two cities in one weekend.

We continue to meet our international friends at conferences organized by Rotaract clubs around the world. The club has been represented at several international conferences this Rotary year, including REM Luxembourg, REM Prague, Medicon Ljubljana, EUCO Belgrade, and GermanTrip.

In May, we were also fortunate to send five of our members to Lithuania through the ICC-Young Professional Exchange Program. The club members were warmly welcomed in Lithuania and experienced both cultural exchange and company presentations.

We hope that next year will be just as varied and exciting as this one, and that we will meet many new people and expand our network both here in Norway and internationally.
For your information, our new president, Md Rizwan, and the new board will now take over the baton.
I want to thank everyone who has contributed this year. The board, members, guests, speakers and various Rotary members. Without you, we would not be able to pull off such a fun year! It has been rewarding and fun to take on the role of president, and it has truly motivated me to continue my journey in Rotary.
Best regards, Caroline Western Torgersen Past President Rotaract Oslo International
